September Special Offering – Village of Hope – Estonia

Each month we take a faith offering for ministries the Lord has led us to bless. This September we will be taking up a faith offering for Village of Hope – Estonia— Their immersive program is designed to regenerate their students spiritually, emotionally and physically, as well as establishing good work ethic, learning employment skills, experiencing inner healing, and rebuilding broken family relationships.

October Special Offering – Touch the Nations

Each month we take a faith offering for ministries the Lord has led us to bless. In October we will be taking up an offering for Touch the Nations.

In June of 1999, Katja Starkey (then Seigel) began traveling abroad doing relief work after 5 years of teaching sixth grade in the inner city. She went to 12 countries in 12 months, serving in natural disasters, places of oppression, and war zones.  Later, in four years, she went to 38 countries. Returning to the classroom, she could not forget the people she had met and the enormous needs they faced. She founded Touch the Nations in order to connect the world at home and the world abroad, sharing awareness, resources, and hope.

Baby Dedication – October 6th

We will have a baby dedication on Sunday, October 6th. Dedicating a child acknowledges God's sovereignty over the child and Mom and Dad. Parents present their child before God asking for grace and wisdom in carrying out their responsibilities. Do you have a baby you would like to have dedicated? Sign up at the Info Table or at HarvestChurchOmaha.org

House Churches

House Churches are a key aspect of our church to help build community, provide opportunity to go deeper into God's teachings, and exercise your gifts as a follower of Christ. In these turbulent days it will be important to have a network of house churches.

With that in mind, we are eager to increase the number of Harvest house churches. Ask the Lord if he would like you to lead a group. If you don't feel led to lead a group perhaps you could host a group at your home and someone else can lead it. Either way it will be a blessing to the body. Interested? Contact Pastor German at

german@harvestchurchomaha.

Gatherings days & times vary and meet in a group member's home. Interested in attending a house church? Go to: harvestchurchomaha.org
