Weekly Announcements

Lunch and Laughter!

Mark your calendars! We will have a potluck/eat together this Sunday, April 21st, right after church at about 12:45. Church gets out around 12:30 -12:45, so this gives time to prepare for lunch, or go get something for your family at nearby fast-food places and bring it back to eat with us. The goal would be to eat together and have fun getting to know each other.

No need to sign up, just bring a dish on that day or plan on getting food and bringing it back to the church.

Note: The potluck will end at 3:00. It is important that everyone pitches in to clean up after the meal so everyone can go home soon after that.

April Special Offering - Rebecca Harvie

Each month we will take a faith offering for ministries the Lord has led us to bless. This month we will be blessing Rebecca Harvie.

Rebecca: I am a missionary with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and I am currently based in the middle of England. My ministry has been a collection of staffing on schools and other outreach opportunities. Last year I staffed one of our Bible schools, this year has been mostly focused on local ministries, and next year I'm planning on staffing our Discipleship Training School & going on outreach with them. While not staffing schools I've been able to volunteer at a local church cafe, help with some of our community events, and go on a church mission trip to Serbia. I've also been involved with our maintenance team, hospitality team, and co-running our cafe team as a part of maintaining the base and creating a welcoming environment to build relationships with our local community and with those who come here for our schools.

Planned Parenthood Abortion Petition Alert!

The abortion industry is circulating a ballot initiative seeking to create a right to abortion in the Nebraska Constitution, which would legalize abortion until birth. Abortion advocacy groups are currently collecting signatures and spending millions of dollars to confuse and mislead voters.

Sunday, Don Kohl will have a table with valuable information about this issue and what you can do. Please stop by and pick up a flyer.

#teamharvest - Coffee Bar

Our Coffee Bar Team serves refreshments after 2nd service. It is a great way to spend a bit of time with other Harvest Church family members! With that in mind, we are looking for those to join our team and serve the Lord. (Guys! We would love to add you to our team!) This is our “front porch” ministry with a team of cheerful people serving coffee and cookies! Serving with them is a great way to get to know our church family.  If you can help, contact Kim Perkins at 402-880-8672 or jandkperkins2@gmail.com

#teamharvest — Usher Team

If you would like to join the team, please contact Greg Litchfield at:  lovelitchfield2@gmail.com or sign up at the info counter.

#teamharvest — Greeter Team
