This past Sunday we had quite the services! The spontaneous exhortations and encouragements about abiding in Christ…He is the Vine, we are the branch…it was so encouraging! Then in the second service, the testimonies that came forth were powerful and very touching! In 1 Corinthians 14:26, the bible says — "How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.” What I love about this verse is that this is an encouragement to get the Body involved in our gatherings. Will it be like that every service? I don’t know. Maybe, maybe not. Isn’t that up to our Father? So many times, we tell the Lord, “Oh Jesus…have Your way!!!” But do we mean it? We just don’t want to get in the way of what Holy Spirit is doing in that moment.

When it comes to our Sunday gathering, I pray, seek the Lord for His direction, will, message, etc…I then hold it with an open hand. Many times, He will have me bring the message. Then there are times He will take the service where He wants it to go like He did last Sunday. It’s what He wanted in those moments and that is more important than any agenda you and I may have! You and I can trust Him in all of this! Our Father is a good Father! He is TRUSTWORTHY!!!

Have a blessed week my friend! You are loved!

Much love,
